Pocket Planes Cheats

| June 23, 2012 | 8 Comments

Pocket Planes Cheats to speed up the game! This cheats should work on the iPhone!
Manage and grow your fleet of planes as they fly interesting people and cargo to over 250 cities around the map.
Unlock everything from tiny prop planes to jumbo jets and small town airports to mega cities.
Customize your planes with your own paint jobs and pilot uniforms.

Setting the time into the future

Here’s the method:

  1. Send your planes out;
  2. Go into Settings on your device;
  3. Change your time sufficiently into the future for all your plane’s journeys to be finished;
  4. Go back into the game.

Looking at your planes list you’ll see every plane has a status of ‘landed’. At this point, all your planes should be landed and your monies received.

You can repeat the above steps over and over constantly putting the time further into the future.

Resetting the time

When you want to reset the time, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure all your planes are at idle status;
  2. Completely quit the game (i.e double click home, remove Pocket Planes from the list of running apps;
  3. Go into settings and fix the time.

IMPORTANT: You need to select each plane on the list to change its status from ‘landed‘ to ‘idle‘ to ensure that their flight times don’t get reset when change the time back.

Not completely quitting the game gave a risk of corrupting your save on Tiny Tower – I cannot confirm or deny whether this is still the case in Pocket Planes. I’d always advise quitting out before resetting the time.

    Tip: Go buy a cheap airport, and then close it immediately, and then go buy another one, and close it immediately, etc etc, and pocket all of the cheap airplane parts you’ll get from the airports.

    I did everything that you mentioned and it did work, but when I reset the time back to normal and then open pocket plane one of the airport closes due to some problem and they ask for coins in order to reopen the airport. I think they have managed to correct this glitch. It does work but then you will have to give some of your coins in order to open your airports.

  3. Slip says:

    The game now punishes you for doing this by closing one of you airports and charging you 12,000 coins to reopen it. I don’t recommend even trying…

  4. RRVK says:

    This no longer works as every time you set the time back on of your airports closes making the glitch no longer profitable.

    If u don’t close pocket planes while using the time glitch, u don’t need to reopen the airports or pay a fee. Just the times and stuff get a little confusing.

  8. Jedesis says:

    I worked this out with the time glictch. I had to pay 13,000 to reopen Sydneybut I only had 1k at the time, so I just randomly cliked on reopen and by chance it reopened and I only had to pay 1k.
